Tranexamic Acid 500mg SR – Tranexamic Acid 500mg SR helps in the treatment of heavy bleeding during your menstrual period. This medicine works by slowing the breakdown of blood clots and also helps to prevent prolonged bleeding. This product belongs to a class of drugs well-known as antifibrinolytics. Tranexamic acid is not treated for anything other than menstrual or pre-menstrual symptoms. This medicine does not stop your period. It is not a kind of birth control and prepares not to protect against sexually transmitted diseases.
How to Use:
While using this medicine read the patient information leaflet that is available from your doctor. Take tranexamic acid 500mg with or without food as directed by your doctor. Swallow this medication whole. And remember don’t crush and chew the medicine. Don’t take this medicine for more than 5 days in a row. The dose of medicine is based on your health condition and response to treatment. If you see any eye problems or change in vision then stop using this product and consult your doctor.
