Drospirenone Ethinyl Estradiol – Drospirenone Ethinyl Estradiol is a combination of 2 hormones as estrogen and progestin. This medicine is used to prevent pregnancy and that mainly preventing the release of an egg during your menstrual cycle. Also, it makes vaginal fluid thicker to help prevent sperm from reaching an egg. This medicine changes the lining of the uterus to prevent attachment to a fertilized egg. Incase fertilized egg does not attach to the uterus then it passes out of the body. Don’t use this medicine to protect you or your partner against sexually transmitted diseases.
How to use:
Before you begin using this product read the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your doctor. Take this medicine orally as guided by your doctor. Start with the primary tablet within the pack, and take them within the correct order. Don’t skip any doses. During pregnancy, if you miss pills then start a replacement pack late, or take your pill at a special time of the day than usual. If this is often the primary time you’re using this medication then take the primary tablet within the gain the primary Sunday following the start of your menstrual period or on the primary day of your period. If you begin on the primary day of your period, you are doing not got to use back-up contraception the primary week.
