Description
Fosfomycin Trometamol – Fosfomycin Trometamol helps in the treatment of bladder infections in women such as acute cystitis or lower urinary tract infections. The inactive ingredients of this medicine stopping the growth of bacteria. This medicine will not work for the common flu and cold.
How to use:
Before you begin taking fosfomycin read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist. If you’ve got any questions, ask your doctor.
Take this medication orally as instructed by your doctor, normally 1 packet (sachet) as one dosage. Mix this drug with water before taking it. Pour the contents of 1 packet (sachet) into a half glass of cold water and stir until dissolved. Don’t use warm or predicament water. Drink all of the mixtures directly.
Your symptoms should recover within 2 to three days. Tell your doctor if you are doing not recover after 3 days or if you worsen.
Side effects:

- Back pain
- Vaginal itching
- Mild diarrhea
